"De La Guarda Toy" (model), 1999, 30in., painted wood and iron
Proposed as a product for merchandising by this original and inventive theater group. The project was not carried out but we think it demonstrates the adaptability of basic mechanical concepts and great graphics to awards and gifts. The base provides ideal space for copy, logo or a dedication plaque. Wound to the top of the trapeze lines the figure descends and rises several times on it’s own momentum much like a yo-yo.
